Watching American news reports in Taiwan
since I was a child, there are often black racial discrimination and black
groups destroying stores and arbitrarily snatching goods. Just recently, the
same thing happened. I don't know whether this situation is a frequent social
problem in the United States. I see similar news every once in a while.
Everything has cause and effect. The Freud
incident in the United States was caused by the black people's consumption with
counterfeit money, which led to police investigations, and improper law
enforcement caused the black people to agitate. In the name of racial
discrimination, black people incited hatred among the masses, rationalized
their behavior and arbitrarily vandalized shops and robbed them. They therefore
think that they are justified in destroying the shops opened by the white
people and robbing the shops. I see this kind of behavior of black people, I
really find it hard to sympathize with them, let alone support and respect
them. If a person uses counterfeit money to consume, it is misbehaving first,
how can he be respected by others? This is a very basic truth.
Secondly, the masses deliberately incited
racial discrimination and hated the white man by using police improper law
enforcement to cause the death of the black man, thereby intentionally causing
social riots. As if they were the messengers of justice and rationalized their
behavior, they began to destroy the shops opened by the white people and rob
the objects. This is actually inciting others to exercise unrighteous acts, and
these incitements themselves are exercise of unrighteous acts. In the Buddha's
view, this is the cause and effect of entering the three evil ways. Which three
evil ways? Hungry ghost road, hell road and animal road. In other words, their
souls will suffer in these three evil realms, and they will not be able to
leave these three evil realms until they can improve themselves. Where are these
three evil ways? Just in the life of the present life is the retribution of the
present life.
I was even more surprised that the white
police officer thought that he had done something wrong, and apologized to the
black people on their knees. When the black people rationalized their improper
behavior and robbed the store’s goods, the white police officer actually did
something wrong, not to enforce the law nor to carry out illegal actions to ban
these blacks, and at the same time, to give up maintaining social order. So,
what is the justice of this to the robbed store and this law-abiding
businessman? We must discern the right and wrong of everything.
Don’t take things that others don’t give
you, because stealing and snatching are greed, and the causes of personal
poverty. This is what the Buddha taught to sentient beings. It is impossible
for a person to steal and snatch, but hope that others will respect him. One
must first correct one's own behavior, this is to respect oneself first, after
that, other people may respect this person. In other words, if a person expects
others to not discriminate against him, then this person must first correct his
behavior and respect himself.
As far as I know about American society,
black people's social status in the United States is not high, and their income
is not good. I often see from the media that black Americans use racial
discrimination as a reason to rationalize their unjust behaviors, and destroy
and rob stores. When this group of blacks was in the process of sabotage and
snatching, I did not see the police coming out to maintain social order.
Remember, don’t take things that others
haven’t given you, because stealing and snatching are the causes of personal
poverty. I haven't seen anyone who can get rich forever because of stealing and
snatching. Don't do unjust acts. Don’t justify your improper behavior for any
reason.
